You'll build a portfolio of measurable profit improvements, not just complete courses. Created by practitioners with 20+ years of commercial leadership experience, this reflects how hotels actually operate and what advancement actually requires.
Who is this designed for?
Our primary audience is ambitious commercial professionals with 2-3+ years of experience in distribution, revenue management, sales, or marketing who are targeting Manager or Director-level advancement. If you're excellent in your specialty but recognise that deep functional expertise alone won't get you promoted, this pathway is designed for you. We also work with hotel organisations developing strategic commercial leadership capability within their teams.
How can I choose my courses?
We offer a number of different learning paths, which you are invited to read and choose the one that best meets your needs. However if you need any advice or clarification before enrolling, do contact us for advice.
How does the three-tier structure work?
Tier 1: Free micro-learning library (40 short courses addressing specific commercial challenges) - builds foundational awareness
Tier 2: Hotel Commercial Foundations - five comprehensive 101 courses ($97 each or $297 for all five) building systematic cross-functional fluency across Distribution, Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Technology
Tier 3: The Hotel Profit Engine Framework™ ($997) - our premium certification programme teaching integrated commercial strategy through audit, planning, and execution methodology. Includes portfolio requirement demonstrating real-world application.
You can engage at any tier based on your goals, but ambitious professionals pursuing advancement typically complete all three stages.
Do I need to complete Tier 2 before enrolling in The Hotel Profit Engine Framework™?
You have two paths to Framework™ enrolment:
Complete any three relevant 101 courses from Tier 2, OR
Pass our Commercial Fluency Assessment if you already have strong cross-functional experience
The Framework™ builds on cross-functional knowledge, so we need to ensure you have the foundation before diving into integrated strategy.
How much time does this require? Can I do this alongside my current job?
Absolutely - it's designed for busy professionals. Tier 1 micro-courses are 30 minutes each. Tier 2 courses are 4-5 hours (self-paced, completed over 2-4 weeks typically). The Framework™ is 18-24 hours of learning plus 5-7 hours weekly of application work over a 90-day cycle.
The key advantage: you apply the methodology within your current role and authority. You're not waiting for permission or team coordination - you're building strategic capability and demonstrating results that accelerate your advancement.
What exactly is The Hotel Profit Engine Framework™ certification?
It's not just course completion - you must demonstrate capability. Certification requires:
Completing all three Framework™ modules (Commercial Audit, Integrated Planning, Execution & Optimisation)
Passing a final integrated simulation testing strategic decision-making
Submitting a 90-day results portfolio showing real-world application and measurable improvements
Presenting a business case demonstrating strategic thinking

When can I start?
Immediately. Tier 1 micro-courses are available now (free access). Tier 2 courses will be available from January 2026 and can be started anytime with instant enrolment. Framework™ cohorts will run quarterly starting April 2026. Everything is self-paced within the cohort timeframe, fitting around your schedule.
What if this doesn't work for me?
We're confident in the value we deliver. If you complete the first module of any Tier 2 course and feel it doesn't meet expectations, contact us within 14 days for a full refund. For Framework™ enrolment, if you complete Module 1 and determine the methodology isn't right for your situation, we'll refund your investment within 21 days. We want committed learners, not reluctant students.
